Ben & Jerry’s has made many a beloved ice cream flavor, but Phish Food has almost always been near the top of the list. Back in 1997, Ben & Jerry’s launched the chocolate ice cream with gooey marshmallow swirls, caramel swirls, and fudge fish in conjunction with the band, and regardless of whether or not you’re a Phish fan, it’s almost impossible not to like this flavor.
And on Thursday, the ice cream giant just made the news even sweeter: They’re launching a new flavor to mark the 20th anniversary of their partnership with Phish, and it has chocolate donut pieces inside of it. Yes, you read that right.

The flavor is called Freezer Reprise (a pun on Phish’s song “Tweezer Reprise”) and it’s a sweet cream base with a vanilla glaze, chocolate donut swirl, chocolate donut pieces, and fudge fish. That’s all the good news, but unfortunately, there’s a downside: This magnificent flavor will be available FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY at the Pennsy food hall at Madison Square Garden.
You see, Phish is reuniting to play 13 nights of shows at MSG this summer, and this special flavor will mark the night of their first show, July 21. Anyone can go and grab a cup of Freezer Reprise (no tickets needed!) but only from 4 to 8 p.m.
Hey, a flavor this good might just be worth the plane ticket.
