Megyn Kelly’s NBC telecast also holds steady with the previous week, albeit at a low 3.1 million viewers.
Sunday’s broadcast lineup did not have an easy go of it, facing off against the return of HBO’s Game of Thrones.
Returns for the pay cable fantasy show still forthcoming, its main competition (Big Brother) saw no diminished ratings — while lead-out Candy Crush and ABC’s Celebrity Family Feud did drop.
CBS led the night with Big Brother earning another 1.8 rating among adults 18-49 and 6 million viewers. At 9 p.m., Candy Crush dropped three-tenths of a point from its premiere to a 0.8 rating in the key demo. On ABC, Celebrity Family Feud fell by two-tenths of a point from the prior week to a 1.1 rating among adults 18-49. Steve Harvey’s Funderdome (0.8 adults) and $100,00 Pyramid (0.8 adults) both held steady.
The only new entry for NBC, another episode of Sunday Night With Megyn Kelly, was steady with the previous week but did reach a new low audience — 3.1 million viewers, off just five percent from the episode before.
